This year, at the VIII Noche de las Telecomunicaciones de Madrid, the AI and Big Data Award of AEIT-Madrid was presented to Natalia Rodríguez Núñez-Milara, CEO of Saturno Labs, for being an outstanding role model for young people, especially women in the sector, and for bringing the study of telecommunications technology closer to society. Ramón Martínez Jiménez and Javier Cebrián Casado from Saturno Labs accepted the award on behalf of Natalia Rodríguez.

The Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers (AEIT-Madrid) celebrated the VIII Noche de las Telecomunicaciones, which recognizes the contributions of companies and institutions in the ICT sector in the Community of Madrid. This important event aims to promote networking between members, companies and institutions in the digital sector in order to share experiences and recognize the work of our profession.

Natalia Rodríguez said: “It is an honor that your professional colleagues value your work in the sector and this encourages me to continue leading initiatives so that young people get to know our profession and take an interest in communication technology."

Currently, Natalia Rodríguez Núñez-Milara, Vice President of the Unoentrecienmil Foundation, is the recipient of the 2023 National Innovation Award for "Young Innovative Talent" She is the founder and CEO of Saturno Labs, an innovation laboratory that develops high-tech products for sectors such as medicine, psychology and social services. Her entrepreneurial spirit has led her to create her own startup and, throughout her career, to develop innovative projects in companies such as Amazon, Fundación ONCE, the Madrid City Council and Doctors Without Borders.

She has also collaborated in projects that improve the lives of cancer patients, medical professionals and people with difficulties or serious illnesses through technology and innovation. She is also a professor at UAX and teaches a Master's program at ISDI. She has received numerous recognitions and awards, including inclusion in the list of the Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain, the Woman and Leadership Award from the Deusto Business School and the 2022 Award for the Best AI and Advanced Technology Projects from the City of Madrid.

Natalia has led research projects using AI techniques to meet the needs of broad segments of the population. She has an extensive educational background, including participation in the Executive Program, Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FIE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other programs at Stanford College, always with a global and service-oriented approach to society.
