The association IndesIA and the Community of Madrid, through the Ministry of Digitalization, have signed an agreement to develop an artificial intelligence platform aimed at industrial companies in the region. This tool aims to facilitate the adoption of AI technology, promoting digitalization, competitiveness, and growth of these companies.

The project is part of the Retech program (Networks of Technological Specialization) and has an investment of 7.6 million euros from European funds. It will enable the Community of Madrid to offer an advanced tool for the digital transformation of Madrid companies, facilitating the development, use, and sharing of data and use cases, as well as access to this technology.

Project development

Valero Marín, president of IndesIA, highlighted the importance of this collaboration: "The union between the public sector and private companies in the development and application of artificial intelligence solutions is fundamental to generate synergies and maximize the impact of technology." Marín also emphasized the need to establish strategic alliances for the co-creation of solutions and knowledge transfer, ensuring that its implementation contributes to the development of the business fabric.

The project will last for two years, during which the AI platform developed by IndesIA will evolve in different phases. Users will be able to access solutions adapted to their needs and level of maturity in using artificial intelligence. Companies will also be able to develop their own projects in a safe and controlled environment, making this project unique at the national level.

Impact on Madrid Companies

IndesIA and the Community of Madrid will develop various accelerator initiatives in the form of itineraries. IndesIA will provide its acceleration methodology, which includes self-assessment questionnaires and a catalog of use cases. These initiatives aim to boost access to data and artificial intelligence among companies.
