The democratization of generative artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT, has also reached the field of education and teaching.

Many students, teachers and even parents are already using large language models in their everyday lives. Ad-hoc applications are also being developed for this area.

One example is IGNITE Copilot, a web application from IGNITE Serious Play, a company specializing in extracurricular STEAM activities. This app was developed to integrate artificial intelligence into the classroom and is intended for schools and teachers.

Mastering Copilot for business efficiency

Maximize your productivity with Copilot in Microsoft 365.

In collaboration with educators and didacticians, IGNITE Copilot is developing a range of AI applications for education that enable primary and secondary school teachers to use AI effectively in the classroom in accordance with current educational regulations (LOMLOE) and international standards (UNESCO and OECD).

Use of IGNITE

IGNITE Copilot saves teachers time by creating structured, high quality learning content tailored to individual student needs. It also facilitates the immediate development of academic projects and provides AI training for teachers.

This productivity application, which the developers claim saves teachers up to 10 hours per week, can be a valuable ally in designing projects for any curriculum area, creating didactic experiences and developing learning situations, all with a competency-based approach.

In addition, you can create quizzes based on any available resource or refer to online content of educational interest.

The app also complies with government education regulations. It is aligned with the current frameworks for competency-based learning and integrates indicators such as the SDGs, gender perspective and multilingualism.

The company's founder, Ignacio Aso, emphasizes that "IGNITE Copilot becomes a strategic ally for schools and institutes by transforming traditional pedagogical methods and contributing to a more innovative education."

Jordi Carrasco, General Director of IGNITE Serious Play, emphasized that "the educational transformation driven by AI is accessible to all educational institutions in Spain" through this web application of artificial intelligence for education, which provides teachers "with "a tool that transforms teaching by generating learning situations that allow personalized learning experiences."
