IONOS, a leading European digitalization partner for small businesses, has updated its WordPress hosting service with AI-powered capabilities. This new AI-driven tool allows users to create professional-looking WordPress websites with just a few clicks.

The platform features an AI assistant that facilitates the creation of initial websites based on keywords related to the project's industry, purpose, and objectives. This way, the tool generates a WordPress website with the initial content and necessary plugins, allowing for intuitive customization at any time through a new control panel. The websites are built entirely with WordPress, so they can be customized with any theme or plugin without any lock-in effects, giving the user greater flexibility.

IONOS has also introduced the Gutenberg AI extension to the platform, an additional option for generating images and text. This tool allows users to enhance their websites with high-quality AI-generated content, improving their aesthetics and functionality. The service includes an AI-powered chat that provides real-time assistance, answers questions, and offers valuable tips and best practices.

IONOS has also enhanced its webmail with an AI assistant. This new feature can be added to any email account. It helps users summarize long and complex emails, paraphrase email drafts, and translate them into various languages such as German, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian, and Dutch. Responses can also be generated based on keywords or the user's information. It offers standard response options for acknowledgments, positive confirmation, delay, or rejection. The AI can also create complete email drafts and adjust them to tone, mood, and length or allow the use of emojis.

Detecting vulnerabilities

This new capability uses the WPScan database to search for flaws in the plugins and themes used daily. Additionally, the tool provides automatic updates or advises the user to stop using a plugin temporarily.
